Let’s face it, tax filing is a less than exciting item on every American’s to-do list. At Honest Llama, we fully support free filing and tax preparation options for those with simple tax returns. It shouldn’t be a financial burden to report your W-2 to Uncle Sam, or his cousin, the state. Unfortunately, as a for-profit business, we cannot offer free filing options. But we can provide you with some information on the agencies that do. 

If your tax return is simple, you may be able to prepare and e-file your federal and state returns online for free or have your taxes prepared and e-filed for you by a trained VITA volunteer free of charge.
